Agents forget everything between sessions. ForgeDeck's memory fixes that with durable, human-readable notes — decisions, gotchas, and patterns that compound over time.

Markdown-first

Memory lives under each project's .forgememory/ as plain markdown — versionable, greppable, and yours. No opaque database.

Secrets are redacted

Every memory write runs through redaction first: API keys, tokens, and .env values never land in .forgememory, and never get attached to a prompt. This is enforced before any write, not as an afterthought.

The brain

ForgeDeck distills raw sessions into a synthesized knowledge web — merging related notes, keeping provenance, and surfacing what matters. You can browse it (Brain / Sessions views) and click any note to trace where it came from.

Obsidian mirror

Optionally mirror compact summaries to allowlisted folders in an Obsidian vault — never raw terminal transcripts. Your durable notes live alongside the rest of your knowledge base.
