Voice lets you dictate to your agents instead of typing — useful for long prompts or hands-free flow.

Providers

  • Local Whisper server — bring your own endpoint; audio stays on your network.

  • Cloud voice — a hosted transcription path on paid plans.

Using it

  1. Enable a provider in Settings → Voice.

  2. Use the voice hotkey to record; ForgeDeck transcribes and injects the text into the focused input or pane.

  3. A custom dictionary lets you fix recurring transcriptions (project names, jargon).

Cloud voice requires a connected account; the local Whisper path works offline against your own server.
